Troubleshooting
Having issues? Here are solutions to common problems.
No Drones Detected
The app doesn't seem to detect any drones even when you know they're nearby.
Solution:
Make sure WiFi is enabled on your device. Try moving to a different location with less interference. Restart the app if needed.
Notifications Not Working
You're not receiving alerts when drones are detected.
Solution:
Check that notifications are enabled in Settings > DroneSpotter. Make sure Do Not Disturb is off and alerts are configured in the app.
GPS/Location Issues
The map shows incorrect location or the radar doesn't work properly.
Solution:
Enable 'Precise Location' in Settings > Privacy > Location Services > DroneSpotter. Move outdoors for better GPS signal.
Excessive Battery Drain
The app seems to use more battery than expected.
Solution:
Reduce scan frequency in settings. Disable background monitoring when not needed. Update to the latest app version.
